Apple has introduced Apple HomeView, a new smart home display designed to bring home automation, entertainment, video calling, and AI-powered assistance into one device. With a 7-inch Liquid Retina display, a built-in speaker system, and the new Siri AI experience, HomeView is designed to become a central point for managing everyday activities at home.
Unlike a traditional tablet, Apple HomeView focuses on shared household use. You can place it on a kitchen counter, bedside table, or living room surface, or choose the separate wall-mounted model for areas such as hallways and entrances.
Apple HomeView Price in India
Apple HomeView is priced at ₹39,900 in India. The wall-mounted version also costs ₹39,900, before purchasing any compatible mounting accessories.
Here is the pricing overview:

Apple HomeView Availability in India
Apple opened pre-orders for HomeView on October 13, 2026, through its online store and Apple Store app.
The device is scheduled to become available from November 13, 2026. Customers can choose between the tabletop and wall-mounted models, depending on where they plan to install the display.
The tabletop model is available in four colours: Silver, Starlight, Rose Pink, and Space Gray. The wall-mounted version comes in Silver and Space Gray.
Design and Display
Apple HomeView features a 7-inch Liquid Retina display with True Tone technology. Its aluminium body and domed speaker base are connected by a stainless steel hinge that allows you to adjust the viewing angle.
The display supports automatic brightness adjustment, ranging from 500 nits in brighter environments to 0.3 nits for darker settings. This makes it suitable for different locations around the house, including a bedside table.
The interface can also adapt the amount of information it shows according to how close you are to the device.
Main Features of Apple HomeView
HomeView combines several functions that would otherwise require separate devices or applications.
Siri AI: The built-in assistant can answer questions, help with music discovery, and assist with everyday tasks. More personalized requests require a compatible Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad.
Smart home control: You can manage compatible lights, locks, thermostats, cameras, and other accessories through Apple’s Home ecosystem.
FaceTime: The 12MP Center Stage camera keeps participants framed during supported video calls.
Entertainment: The device supports features involving music, podcasts, photos, video content, and other compatible services. Some content requires subscriptions or a paired iPhone.
Personalized profiles: HomeView can recognize up to six household members and provide personalized home screens, apps, and widgets.
Do You Need an iPhone to Use HomeView?
HomeView is designed to work within Apple’s ecosystem. Initial setup and multi-user support require a compatible iPhone or iPad running the required software.
Some Siri AI features can work without an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad, but personalized requests require a compatible paired device. Siri AI is available in English initially, and usage limits may apply.
Is Apple HomeView Worth Buying?
HomeView could be useful if you already use Apple products and want a dedicated screen for controlling smart home devices, checking schedules, making calls, and accessing everyday information.
The wall-mounted option may be attractive for entryways and hallways, while the tabletop model is suited to kitchens, bedrooms, and living rooms.
However, at ₹39,900, it is a premium smart home device. Its value depends on how much you would use the home automation, communication, and entertainment features.
Final Thoughts
Apple HomeView brings a dedicated smart display to Apple’s home ecosystem, combining a 7-inch screen, Siri AI, personalized profiles, FaceTime, and smart home controls. With both tabletop and wall-mounted models priced at ₹39,900, it offers flexibility in how you place the device around your home.
Pre-orders are open in India, and availability begins November 13, 2026. Before buying, check device compatibility, mounting requirements, and the availability of the features you plan to use.
